My life has been changing so dramatically on the inside, that it can’t help to change on the outside. Probably the average person looking at me wouldn’t notice much change in my life, but I know I have. When you change the way you look at things, what you look at changes. I am able to do things today that boggled my mind just a few years ago or just a few months ago.
Exercise and Health

In the fall I took up running again. Why? I don’t really know. Because it’s exercise and a wise man once told me that exercise is good for you. I started off with a mile or so and after a few weeks I was running around 3.5 miles w/out even thinking about it. Then, around Thanksgiving I finally made the move to buy an at home exercise program. Today is day 30 and things are still good. Yeah, I get up around 4:00 AM everyday, but it’s a choice. Everything is a choice my friend. I really look forward to doing it everday. I might be a little crazy, but I think it’s a good crazy. I’ve also dramatically changed the way I look at exercise and eating. Health is not something to strive for, its something you live. I’ve chosen quite a few unhealthy habits over the years, and I am the only one that can change them. We don’t throw habits out the window, we coax them down the stairs, one step at a time. What I am saying is whether food, alcohol, drugs, anger, hatred is your habit, its not something that can be taken care of in one day. The good news is that you are what you think about all day long. This means if you change your thoughts, your you change your life. Proverbs says “As ye think so that ye be”. Most people live the opposite. They let the circumstances of their life guide their thinking. The mind is an awesome thing… especially when we know how to use it!
The Dog D’Oji

D’oji, D’oji, how I love my D’oji. It’s true that dog don’t make up our whole life, but they do make every life whole. He sure is a lot of fun. I don’t think he knows how to be mad. We sure can learn a lot from dogs. Oh, D’oji likes Julie better than me, but I can handle that. He’s motivating me to get a job where he can come with me. I would have to be my own boss, but it might be worth it.

Saving the best topic for last of course :) Well, Julie and I are growing together everyday. We compliment each other well and we actually have a lot of fun together… I know its hard to believe. She doesn’t bitch and she doesn’t nag either. What a bonus!! Some people say that changes in the long run, but I don’t think it will. We love the things we love because of what they are. Love does not have any “buts”–it is not conditional. I want to keep it that way. I am looking forward to our future together!
